Belarus’ Digital Development Center, Rostelecom sign cooperation memorandum

Digital Development Center (Belarus) and Rostelecom (Russia) have signed a memorandum on interaction and cooperation. The document was signed as a delegation of the Belarusian Communications and Informatization Ministry visited the Russian Ministry of Digital Development, Communications, and Mass Media, BelTA has learned.

The memorandum was signed by Director of RUP Digital Development Center Igor Mikhailovsky and Senior Vice President for the Development of State Digital Platforms at PAO Rostelecom Oleg Pak.

The memorandum was signed with a view to establishing cooperation and sharing the best practices in the sphere of digital transformation of state administration in Belarus and Russia. The main directions of this cooperation include the development and introduction of platform-based solutions and systems for managing government data, the achievement of common goals concerning the creation of common digital space, the enabling of digital independence, creation and development of integrated information systems and digital services of the Union State of Belarus and Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union.

RUP Digital Development Center and PAO Rostelecom expressed interest in implementing joint initiatives in various cooperation areas, including within the framework of programs and projects of the Union State of Belarus and Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union.
