In Minsk, at the capital's cinema "Pobeda", the premiere of the new film "Karuza" took place, telling a dramatic story set in besieged Leningrad. The screening of the film by director Ivan Kharatian is held in anticipation of the anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. People's Artist of Russia Dmitry Kharatian shared his impressions and expressed pride for his son, the film's director Ivan Kharatian, reports Soyuz.by correspondent.

Before the screening, which took place in anticipation of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, Dmitry Kharatian addressed the audience in Belarusian, warmly welcoming them. He also reminisced about the beginning of his career at the Belarusfilm studio.
The actor noted that it brings him dreat joy to see the success of his children. According to him, Ivan's film touches on important themes of humanity, love, loyalty, devotion, heroism and self-sacrifice. "Overall, it is a great happiness when our children achieve something in life, when they succeed, when they are successful, healthy, and happy. Vanya is a professional, he knows how to do this. This is his first major serious work, his debut feature", emphasized the People's Artist of Russia.
Dmitry Kharatian emphasized the special significance of Victory Day, which for him, as a person born in the USSR, is a sacred holiday. He is convinced that it was thanks to this Victory 80 years ago that we live today and have the opportunity to talk about cinema. "From a young age, I was brought up in respect for my elders, respect for the participants of the Great Patriotic War, for their feat, which they performed for the sake of peace on earth, our fathers and grandfathers. And, of course, for me this holiday is a separate date in my calendar of my life and, probably, the most important, the most important, the most holy.", - added Kharatian.
Dmitry Kharatian also said that in the film he played the role of the main character Mitya, who in old age tells a story about the war.
