Today the Russian side is well aware and understands the potential that Belarus has," Dmitry Pantus said.

Belarus and Russia have started working on joint R&D. "We are doing a lot of work with Russia on import substitution. In 2020, we approved an import substitution program for the State Authority for Military Industry. For example, in 2022, we replaced the imports of parts, services and works in the amount of $43.5 million. In 2023, we aim for $62-64 million in import substitution. These are the parts and components that we have developed and are already using in our hardware," Dmitry Pantus emphasized.
