Putin, Lukashenko agree to meet before yearend — Kremlin spokesman

Russian and Belarusian Presidents, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko, have agreed to meet before the New Year. The exact date will be announced later, Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Monday, TASS has learned.

"Yes, they have agreed [to meet]. We will announce the date in due course," he told journalists when asked whether the two leaders had agreed on a new meeting during their recent telephone call.
"Before the New Year," Dmitry Peskov said when asked about a date for such a contact.
The two presidents spoke over the phone on Friday to discuss the most topical issues of Russian-Belarussian relations, current challenges and the situation around both countries.
