CEC: 299 international observers accredited for presidential election in Belarus

The accreditation of observers for the presidential election in Belarus continues, BelTA learned from the Central election Committee (CEC) of Belarus. 

As of 31 December 2024, the CEC of Belarus accredited 299 international observers, including representatives of electoral bodies of foreign states, parliaments of CIS member states, the Secretariat of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia, the Youth Organization of the Non-Aligned Movement, and independent observers. Also, two observer missions have been deployed to observe the presidential election in Belarus: from the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Territorial commissions for the presidential election accredited 22,458 domestic observers.
