Makei, Lavrov discuss conflict in Ukraine, interaction in international arena

The foreign ministers of Belarus and Russia, Vladimir Makei and Sergey Lavrov, held a meeting on the sidelines of the session of the CIS Ministerial Council in Dushanbe, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"The ministers exchanged views on the situation in the region, the prospects for resolving the conflict in Ukraine, and the interaction between the two countries in the international arena," the press service said.

In Dushanbe, Vladimir Makei also held meetings with his counterparts from Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
