Belarusian Amkodor, Russia’s Arkhangelsk Oblast seek cooperation in forestry

During a visit to Belarus, a delegation from Russia’s Arkhangelsk Oblast led by Governor Alexander Tsybulsky paid a visit to the Belarusian mechanical engineering company Amkodor with a view to expanding partnership relations, BelTA learned from the press service of the enterprise.

After getting familiar with the permanent exhibition of machinery and the Amkodor lineup, the head of the delegation praised the well-established labor traditions, wide opportunities of the enterprise and sales prospects to the Arkhangelsk Oblast market.

The key topic of the talks was mutually beneficial cooperation in forestry. In order to study the equipment and machinery for forest maintenance and reforestation works a number of leading enterprises of Arkhangelsk Oblast visited Amkodor-Lesmash, the only manufacturer of forestry equipment in Belarus.

Every year the company increases deliveries of special-purpose machinery to the Arkhangelsk Oblast enterprises, which contributes to the development and improvement of the economic potential of the region.

Amkodor consists of 30 legal entities, 22 plants that produce more than 6,500 names of products, including 135 models and modifications of special-purpose vehicles and agricultural machines. All Amkodor enterprises are integrated into a single technological chain. Each member specializes in manufacturing specific machines, units and assemblies for all enterprises of the company. Amkodor constantly develops new models of machines and vehicles and improves existing ones.
