After visiting the Osipovichi training ground during the Belarus-Russia joint exercise Allied Resolve 2022 Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko told journalists that if the West keeps attacking Belarus, he will be an eternal president, BelTA has learned.

During a conversation with journalists, Aleksandr Lukashenko named conditions for him to step down: “If the collective West, primarily the Americans, stops keeping Belarus in the crosshairs and abandons plans to stage revolts here, like it was in 2020, everything will be legal and nice and will happen sooner than you want or they want.”

Yet, the head of state stressed, if the West continues to attack Belarus, he will be ‘an eternal president'.
