Lukashenko presents shoulder boards to generals

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko presented general's shoulder boards to high-ranking officers in the Palace of Independence, BelTA has learned.

Aleksandr Lukashenko presented Major-General shoulder boards to Deputy Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense Command Dmitry Mikholap and Chief of the Gomel Oblast branch of the State Security Committee Aleksandr Melnikov, Police Major-General shoulder boards to Chief of the Vitebsk Oblast Police Department Andrei Lyubimov, Justice Major-General shoulder boards to Chief of the Grodno Oblast branch of the Investigative Committee Eduard Malinovsky, and Customs Service State Councilor 3rd rank shoulder boards to Chief of the Minsk Regional Customs Sergei Ivanov.
Aleksandr Lukashenko also presented Presidential Thanks to cadets, who had graduated from military education institutions with flying colors.
