Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Belarus Valery Kovalkov told a press conference at the National Press Centre about the events to be held in Belarus during the Week of Parental Love, informed a correspondent of the Soyuz.by portal. 

On 15 October, the forum ‘Talking about Important Things: Happy Family - Strong State’, organised by the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, will be held. On the same day all temples will hold prayer services for the health of all mothers and fathers. 

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Health, a national round table ‘Healthy Family - Strong State’ will be held on 18 October with the awarding of the winners and laureates of the contest ‘Sanctity of Birth 2024’. 

On October 21, the Ministry of Social Protection invites to the dialogue platform ‘Fatherhood and Career: How to Combine?’ with the presentation of a series of videos of the social TV commercial ‘Fatherhood: Balancing Family and Work’. 

On 18-19 October Zhlobin will host the final of the competition ‘Family! We Serve Together!’, organised by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Gomel Regional Executive Committee.

In addition, the final of the creative contest among mass media ‘Strong Family - Strong Power’ will be held. The organisers are the Ministry of Information and the Belarusian Women's Union.

Also, a festival of family practices for children from pre-school education institutions and their parents ‘SUPERfamily‘ will take place.

And already today, the final of the national contest ‘Family of the Year’ will be held at the Palace of Trade Unions.
