President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and the President of the Russian Federation sent congratulations to People's Artist of the USSR Alexandra Pakhmutova on her birthday, noting her great talent and creativity, which are an invaluable spiritual treasure of Soviet and Russian culture.

"You have created many wonderful works, beloved by millions of listeners and widely recognized in the Belarusian land," Alexander Lukashenko noted.

He expressed confidence that Alexandra Pakhmutova will give people joy and good mood for many years to come, strengthening Belarusian-Russian ties.

Lukashenko wished the People's Artist good health, well-being and optimism.

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin also congratulated Alexandra Pakhmutova on her birthday.

"Today, the whole of Russia sincerely and warmly honors you. And I am sure that everyone who grew up and lived in the Soviet Union, who dreamed, studied and worked, inspired by your songs filled with romance and true friendship, conquering new heights, the energy of great achievements and the joy of victories…
