A meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly's Commission on Healthcare will be held in Minsk

A meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly's Commission on Healthcare will be held in Minsk on March 4, 2025. The event will be attended by representatives of the Standing Committee of the Union State, as well as the Ministries of Health and Justice of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia and the FMBA of Russia, the press center of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia reports.

The agenda includes discussions on the implementation of the Union State's activities in 2024 and preparations for new initiatives for 2025.

Among the key topics:
- Comprehensive medical care for citizens of Belarus and Russia affected by the radiation effects of the Chernobyl disaster.
- Sanatorium-resort treatment of veterans and invalids of the Great Patriotic War and military operations.
- Rehabilitation of children from the areas most affected by Chernobyl.
- Treatment of citizens using advanced proton therapy technology.

In addition, the meeting participants will discuss new programs and projects in the field of healthcare aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
