Bardzilouskaya: ‘My dream is Olympic gold’

Olympic silver medalist Viyaleta Bardzilouskaya of Belarus shared her first impressions after returning home from Paris, BelTA has learned.

“When the scores were announced, I was surprisingly calm. That's not like me. For some reason I was confident that I did well," Viyaleta Bardzilouskaya said.

The athlete expressed her gratitude to the coaching staff for the support. "I am grateful to our doctor Ivan Gordienko and the head coach Olga Vlasova. She always knows how to find approach, what to say," Viyaleta Bardzilouskaya added.

Speaking about her further goals and wishes, the Olympic silver medalist said she dreamed of winning Olympic gold.

The Olympic silver for the 19-year-old Belarusian is so far the best achievement in her sporting career. Before that Viyaleta Bardzilouskaya finished seventh at the 2022 FIG Trampoline Gymnastics World Cup in Baku. This season the Belarusian placed 10th at the tournament in Azerbaijan and 12th at the event in Germany.
