Dental Tourism in Belarus: it is mostly Russians who come to get a beautiful smile

Belarus is becoming a popular dental tourism destination. Any foreign visitor can get this service in our country. However, most often these are Russians who come to the republic for this purpose, said Chief Medical Officer of the National Dental Polyclinic Andrei Matveev in an interview with the correspondent of the Union State portal.

The specialist said that in 2019 state hospitals provided services worth 3 million rubles as part of dental tourism; 13 thousand foreign patients turned to Belarusian dentists.
“People go to Belarus for quality. Foreigners come to us because they know that they will receive good quality services at a reasonable price,” said Andrei Matveev.
His words were confirmed by the Director of Med Travel BELARUS Vladislav Androsov. According to him, tourists are attracted by the affordability and high quality of dental services in the country, as well as by new technology that is being introduced into the treatment process.
“Our country can be called Eastern Europe leader in dental tourism. Russians dominate among patients. Not only Muscovites, but also residents of the Far East, Sakhalin. Residents of the Baltic states, Scandinavian countries, the USA and others are showing keener interest as well now,” said Vladislav Androsov.
According to the expert, integrated solutions in the field of dental implantation are in the highest demand.
