No threat or aggression will come from Belarus, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik said in an interview with RIA Novosti, BelTA has learned.

The minister emphasized the key point: “Belarus has always been and remains a peace-loving state.” “There has never been and will never be a threat coming from the territory of Belarus. According to our Constitution, no aggression can be committed from the territory of Belarus. These are the postulates, which are immutable,” he emphasized.

Sergei Aleinik also reminded that the National Security Concept and the Military Doctrine of Belarus, adopted at the Belarusian People’s Congress, clearly stipulate the country's ability and capacity to ensure its security and defense with all available forces and means. These include allied relations with Russia and interaction between the defense agencies of the two countries.
