Belarus is open for hosting peace talks on Ukraine. Everything depends on the political will of Kiev, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik said in an interview with RIA Novosti, BelTA has learned.

According to the foreign minister, Belarus is always ready to host the parties for peace talks. “Our doors for peace talks are open, they have always been, and remain so. We will always be ready to host on our Belarusian soil the negotiations, which we hope will contribute to restoring peace and ending bloodshed in Ukraine,” Sergei Aleinik said.

“Of course, we will count on the political will of the Ukrainian leadership here. We see that the people of Ukraine would like more and more to restore peace and end the suffering they are facing today as soon as possible. Everything is in the hands of politicians today,” he explained.
