The system of collecting data about the voting process is very clear and well-organized, independent observer from Switzerland Wilhelm Wyss said as he visited the Center for Public Observation of Elections, BelTA learned from the center.

“I am very impressed by how the center’s work is organized. Similar structures are set up for election campaigns in Switzerland. However, in my opinion, people in Belarus have a more responsible attitude to the voting process,” noted Wilhelm Wyss.

According to the independent observer, having visited several polling stations, he has not detected a single violation, nor has he recorded a single complaint.

“The voting process is carried out in accordance with international standards. People go to the polls consciously. If they have any questions, they get immediate answers. The electoral system in your country meets the highest criteria,” Wilhelm Wyss added.
