The day before in the Museum of Defense of the Brest Fortress took place the opening ceremony of gathering coins for the monument “Living memory of grateful generations” in Moscow.

“The project “Living memory of grateful generations” continues. Two monuments from the trilogy have already been created and installed. The next year is significant for the whole post-Soviet space, for Belarus and Russia – the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory. We are preparing for this holiday. On May 9, 2025 the monument will be installed on Poklonnaya Hill in Moscow. It is very important to use this project to shake up the space, so that as many young people, children, families of our union space would participate in the creation of this monument,” said public figure, paralympian, motivational speaker and founder of the charitable foundation Alexei Talai.
The container for coin gathering was installed on the first floor of the Museum of Defense. Such a place was chosen because Brest Fortress is visited by thousands of Belarusians and foreigners.
