Belarus' ambassador to Russia authorized to sign international gas agreement

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Vladimir Semashko has been authorized to hold talks on the draft international agreement on the delivery of natural gas to Belarus and sign the document. The decision is laid down by Council of the Ministers' Resolution No.85 of 13 February 2020.

Vladimir Semashko has been authorized to hold talks on the draft protocol to amend the agreement between the governments of Belarus and Russia of 25 November 2011 on prices (tariffs) in the supply of natural gas to Belarus and its transportation via pipelines located in Belarus. Changes can be made to the document, but only if they are not of a fundamental nature.

The head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Russia will sign the protocol provided that the parties come to terms.
