"Most of what we have planned has been carried out and planned quite clearly," Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko said on the Belarus 1 TV channel, speaking about the results of 2024, BelTA has learned.

"If we talk about 2024 and our results, it is very important that we probably completed most of what we had in mind, and planned it quite clearly. In terms of GDP and many other parameters, we have exceeded our plans. It is very important that inflation remains in the range that we have set aside for it. Incomes of the population have grown significantly more than we had planned, that is, we planned three and a half percent, there are no official figures yet, but I think we will get around 9-10%. Despite the fact that everything is meant here: pensions and so on. And real wages will rise by 13%. That's what we expect, judging by the preliminary data," Roman Golovchenko said.

The Prime Minister also added: "Our exports are also in the black, in a good plus. This year will also be a record year for us, and we can already see that we have added $2 billion in exports in 10 months. It's not a bad figure, especially given all the difficulties we're experiencing and the pressure we're under, and it's a solid increase. Of course, by increasing physical volumes and diversifying exports."

Speaking about plans for exports in 2025, the head of government said: "I set a target to add 5%."
