Belarus to cooperate with Russia in intellectual property

The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus has approved the draft intergovernmental agreement with Russia on cooperation in intellectual property. The decision is stipulated in the Council of Ministers’ Resolution No. 394 of 29 May 2024, published on the National Legal Internet Portal on 31 May, BelTA has learned.

According to the document, the project approved by the government will serve as a basis for negotiations on cooperation in this area. The State Committee on Science and Technology will conduct negotiations on the project. It can make amendments to it, which are not of principal nature, and sign the document upon reaching an agreement.

The resolution will come into force on the day of its adoption.
